Working with Clash Analysis Results

When a Clash Analysis has finished running, you can view the analysis results. The results include the following items:

  • Portfolio Clashing Locations: This dynamic grid lists information about each location in the master portfolio exposure view that clashes with the contract location that you have selected in the Contract Locations with Clash table. For each clashing location in the master portfolio exposure view, the grid lists a variety of information, including the clash type (address or radius), the associated contract and location IDs, geographic information, geocode match level, and replacement values.

  • Map: The dynamic map displays the location that you select in the Contract Locations with Clash table, along with any clashing locations. If you selected the Clash by Distance to Existing Locations check box, the map also displays the corresponding ring around the selected location.

Procedure

To view Clash Analysis results:

  1. In Underwriting Contract Mode, open the contract for which you want to view the most recent Clash Analysis results.
  2. In the Contract Summary Dashboard, click Clash.

    The Results pane contains a map and two clash grids.

  3. In the Contract Locations with Clash grid, select the location for which you want to view more detailed clash data, such as the number of clashing locations and the clash TRV.

    The dynamic map displays the location selected in the Contract Locations with Clash grid, along with any clashing locations. If you selected the Clash by Distance to Existing Locations Less than check box, the map also displays the corresponding ring around the selected location.

  4. In the Portfolio Clashing Locations dynamic grid, which displays information about each location in the master portfolio exposure view that clashes with the contract location selected in the Contract Locations with Clash grid, select the contract ID to open the contract in a new tab.

    For each clashing location in the master portfolio exposure view, the grid lists a variety of information, including the clash type (address or radius), the associated contract and location IDs, geographic information, geocode match level, and replacement values.

  5. To hide either of the results grids or the map, click Show/Hide Contents Item in the sidebar and then clear the check box next to the item that you want to hide.
  6. To show either of the results tables or the map, click Show/Hide Contents Item in the sidebar and then select the check box next to the item that you want to show.
