Setting the Default Rule Set

The default rule set specified in the Rule Set Manager appears in the Options section for the appropriate Data Quality Analysis diagnostic.

  • After you select Validate Data, the Validate Data Options pane opens; it displays the default rule sets for Completeness and Reasonability.

  • After you select Augment and Enhance with Property-Specific Data and/or User-Specified Values, the associated pane opens; it displays the default rule sets for Augmentation and Location Update.

Procedure

To change the default rule set for a rule set type:

  1. In the Administration Console, select Data Quality.

    The Rule Set Manager opens.

  2. Select a rule set.

    You can set a rule set to be the default in each category.

  3. If you want it to be the default rule set, select the Default option.

    You can also set the default rule set in the Rule Set Editor window when you are configuring the rules. To do this, select the Set as default Rule Set check box at the top of the window.

  4. Click Save.
