Specifying the Export Destination
After configuring the settings for the selected export type, you specify the destination. The destination fields depend on the export type. If you are exporting to a folder, you must make sure that the folder is correctly shared so that AIR ExportExpress can write to it.
You can export currency rate settings to a folder.
To specify the export destination when the destination is a folder:
-
In the Destination Path field, browse to or type the path to the target folder using this UNC (Uniform Naming Convention) format: \\Server_Name\Shared_Folder_Name.
Example: \\MyComputer\Exports
-
In the File Name field, leave the default file name, or enter a new file name.
-
Click Export to finish the export.
To specify the export destination when the destination is a database:
-
In the Database field, select the target database.
Alternatively, type a unique name to create a database.
-
If the data to export is exposure data, type a prefix in the Exposure Prefix field.
A prefix is required if you select the Exclude Insured Name and Exclude Premium broker options.
-
If the data to export is loss data, select the target project in the Project field.
Alternatively, type a unique name to create a project.
The Project field is disabled if you typed a unique name in the Database field.
-
If you specified a new project in the previous step, select a currency and exchange rate in the Project Currency field.
-
Click Export to finish the export.
