You can create an event set filter that defines rules that capture the parameters of an event for a catastrophe peril analysis. For example, if you want the analysis to consider earthquakes with a focal depth of less than seven kilometers, select EQ Depth (km) as the parameter and less than (<) as the condition. Then, enter 7 in the Value1 field. For information about applying an event set filter, see Applying an Event Set Filter; that topic provides usage notes.

Note:

Touchstone 2021 includes a new weapon type, Medium Truck (10-ton TNT). In addition, Delivery Truck (6-ton TNT) has been renamed to Small Truck (6-ton TNT).

The Rules tab in the Event Filter window contains the following fields that enable you to define rules filters for an event set filter. The "Parameters, Conditions, and Values for Rules" that follows the table lists all available parameters and conditions and required values for each parameter.

Field

Description

Parameter

Parameter(s) to include in this event set filter.

Condition
