Import Event Sets from ALERT Website

Admin > Administration Console > Event Set Management

Procedure

  1. Download the event set executable from the ALERT™ Worldwide website to a location the application can access, such as a shared folder.
  2. Run the executable to extract the event set (EVI) file.
  3. Select Admin > Administration Console > Event Set Management .
  4. Click Import.
  5. Navigate to the folder containing the EVI files, select the EVI you want to import, then click Open.

    After the application has installed the event set, it displays the message "Successfully installed name.evi".

  6. Click OK.

    The imported event set appears in the event set list. When you configure a Detailed Loss Analysis, the imported event appears in the Event Set list in Analysis Settings.

    Note:

    Loss analyses that you run against custom ALERT event sets are not CLF-compatible, even though the CLF Compatibility Note value is "Supports All Lines of Business".
