Touchstone 2023 (11.5) includes enhancements to Verisk models and the user interface, data updates, and more.
This release provides parity with previous versions of Touchstone.Model enhancements
Model updates include the following items:- Verisk Earthquake Model for the Middle East (new)
- Verisk Inland Flood Model for Italy (new)
- Updates for the Verisk U.S. Hurricane Model for Offshore Assets
- Information about previous model version (PMV) support
- Information about updates to model version numbers
- Verisk Severe Thunderstorm Model for the United StatesImportant: Peril codes are different in Geospatial analysis than they are in Detailed Loss analysis. We do not support the new sub-peril set code for the Verisk Severe Thunderstorm Model for the United States, which is 11534336. Instead, we are still using the old sub-peril code, which is 2. This mismatch creates an issue when a user tries to join detailed loss results with geospatial analysis accumulation output.
Data updates
- Annual Industry Exposure Databases updates for offshore assets within the Gulf of Mexico
- Basemaps and map library updates from ESRI to ThinkGEO map libraries
- New geospatial layers (26)
- Location-level event intensity (LLEI) updates to work with the Verisk Earthquake Model for the Middle East and the Verisk Inland Flood Model for Italy
Software enhancements
- Financial engine support: New business logic, including to geospatial
analysis; logging enhancements; Specialty Business Solutions (SBS)
data transfer; EDM data converter (EDC) updates.Note: The geospatial module is not completely at parity with the loss engine. We currently provide parity for the minimum/maximum deductible algorithms for location, layer, and sublimit, and for percent loss of coverage deductible on location. We also support a third tier for sublimits. However, in some cases the results in the backend table, txx_EC_ByLayer, for exposed ground up resullts are not intuitive. We will address this discrepancy when we migrate the entire geospatial module to the new financial engine.
- CLF export.
- Extended support for Middle East and Italy CLF/CLA.
- Zone sets: Added ability to import and export zone sets from one (Touchstone or (Touchstone Re installation to another, from one release to another, and from one business unit to another.
- Min-max deductible for site deductible placed on a location.
- Integration of demand surge tool into Touchstone.
