Field Description Can Be Included in a Template?
Currency & Rate

The currency to use during the running of the analysis, and the exchange rate table—AIR Default or Euro-Based—to use when converting the summary results to the common currency. In the currency list, select the currency in which you want to run this analysis. In the exchange rate table list, select the desired exchange rate table.

The project currency overrides the template currency.

Yes (Detailed Loss Analysis and Hazard Analysis templates only)
Number of Cores

The minimum and maximum number of cores to use during this analysis.

Enter the minimum and maximum number (as an integer) of cores that Touchstone can use for this analysis.

Whether this field is enabled depends on how the administrator has configured the Minimum/Maximum Cores field when configuring the HPC node group association. When both values are set to "1", you cannot modify the number of cores for the analysis you are configuring.

To optimize memory usage, Touchstone 2023 (11.0 and later) use a minimum of two cores for all detailed loss analyses. You can add more cores in multiples of two.

Tip: When you are configuring a new analysis, but not when you are creating an analysis template, a status message below the Min and Max number of cores fields indicates how many cores are currently available. Click (Refresh) to refresh this status message.

Scheduling

Specifies whether Touchstone should run the analysis immediately or schedule the analysis for a specific date and time.

  • Schedule on

If you select Schedule on, you must also choose the desired date and time for the job.
