Sharing Zone Sets

Administrative users can share zone sets with other business units in Touchstone and in Touchstone Re. The shared zones will be read-only. Administrative users can make changes to a zone set that has been shared.

The system administrator has full access to all zone sets created across all business units.

To share a zone set:

1.     In the Administration Console, select Object Management > Zone Set Manager.

2.     In the leftmost panel, select the zone set that you want to share.

You can share one zone set at a time.

3.     On the panel toolbar, click (Share).

The Zone Set Manager Sharing dialog box displays a list of the business units to which the administrative user has access. It also indicates the application (Touchstone or Touchstone Re) being used by each business unit.

4.     Select the check box next to each business unit with which you want to share the zone set.

You can share the zone set with one or more business units at the same time.

5.     Click Save.

The Share icon () appears next to the zone set name.

6.     To unshare a zone set, in the Zone Set Manager Sharing dialog box, clear the check box next to the business unit and then click Save.

  If a user runs an analysis with a zone set that is later not shared or is deleted, the loss results will still be available. However, the user will no longer see the zone set in Zone Set Manager.
