Splitting a Zone

• Administration Console > Object Management > Zone Set Manager

Splitting a zone enables you to create new zones from geographic areas in a zone set. ExampleSomeone created a zone set that contains Cuba, Dominica, Dominican Republic, and Greenland. You want to split Cuba off into its own zone in that zone set.

To split a zone:

1.     In the Administration Console, select Object Management > Zone Set Manager.

2.     In the leftmost panel, select the zone set from which you want to create new zones.

The Zones panel lists the zones in the zone set.

3.     In the Zones panel, hold down Ctrl and select one or more areas to split from the zone. ExampleSelect Finland.

4.     Click Split zone.

The new zones appear. ExampleThe Zones pane now contains two zones, one with France and Germany, and a second with Finland.
