Touchstone does not support single-day contracts.

This tab contains policy and layer fields.

Policy fields

Default Value

Inception Date

The value that Touchstone should use to fill in a blank Inception Date field in your imported contracts data. The Inception Date field represents the date of the first day on which coverage is effective.

For inception and expiration dates, and other in-force dates, you must specify a date value between 01/01/1970 and 12/31/2038, inclusive, for dates based on US regional settings. If you are not using US regional settings, use a date value other than 01/01/1970, such as 01/01/1990.

When importing data, use one of the following formats and select this format on the AIR ImportExpress Options tab:

  • MM/DD/YYYY

  • DD/MM/YYYY

  • YYYYMMDD

  • YYYY-MM-DD

January 1 of the current year

Expiration Date

The value that Touchstone should use to fill in a blank Expiration Date field in your imported contracts data. The field represents the date of the last day on which coverage is effective.

For inception and expiration dates, and other in-force dates, you must specify a date value between 01/01/1970 and 12/31/2038, inclusive, for dates based on US regional settings. If you are not using US regional settings, use a date value other than 01/01/1970, such as 01/01/1990.

Line of Business

The value that Touchstone should use to fill in a blank Line of Business (LOB) field in your imported contracts data.

This field represents the user-specified line of business for the contracts.

Policy Form

The value that Touchstone should use to fill in a blank Policy Form field in your imported contracts data.

This field represents the user-defined policy form assigned to the contracts.

Status

The value that Touchstone should use to fill in a blank Status field in your imported contracts data.

This field represents the submission status of the contracts.

Submitted

Currency

The value that Touchstone should use to fill in a blank Currency field in your imported contracts data.

This field represents the base currency for the contracts.

US Dollar

Perils

The value that Touchstone should use to fill in a blank Perils field in your imported contracts data.

This field represents the perils insured under the contracts.

For primary and facultative property contracts:

  • Earthquake: Earthquake Shake, Fire Following, Sprinkler Leakage, Tsunami

  • Tropical Cyclone: Wind, Storm Surge, Precipitation Flood

  • Severe Storm: Severe Thunderstorm, Winter Storm

  • Other Perils:: Inland Flood, Wildfire/Bushfire, Terrorism, Coastal Flood

For primary and facultative workers' compensation contracts:

  • Earthquake: Earthquake Shake, Fire Following, Tsunami

  • Other Perils: Terrorism

This field represents the limit type for the layers associated with the contracts.

Blanket Limit

The value that Touchstone should use to fill in a blank layer Deductible Type field in your imported contracts data.

This field represents the deductible type for the layers associated with the contracts.

No Deductible

When you have finished editing the settings on this tab, click Apply.
