Step Function (Value Mapping) Tab

The tab contains the following fields, areas, and buttons:

Field

Description

Scan

Enables you to scan your import file for values Touchstone does not recognize.

Unrecognized values

The total number of values in your step function import file that Touchstone does not recognize.

Unrecognized values grid

Enables you to map unrecognized values in your source step function file to valid Touchstone values for a successful data import.

For each value that you want to map, view or select the import file field in the Source column. Enter the value from the import file in the Value column. Then, in the Mapping column, select the Touchstone value to which you want to map the value from the import file.

To add new value mappings, click the top, green row in the grid.

Source

The import file fields that contain custom, user-defined values that you want to map to valid Touchstone values.

Value

The value in the import file that you want to map to a valid Touchstone value.

Mapping

The valid Touchstone value to which you want to map the custom, user-defined value (form the import file) that you specified in the Value field.

After editing the settings on this tab, click Apply.
