Setting Severe Thunderstorm Options

Touchstone enables you to analyze any combination of the following sub-perils when performing a detailed loss analysis that includes the severe thunderstorm perils: hail, straight-line winds, and tornado. You can choose any one of these sub-perils to analyze alone, or you can select any combination of these sub-perils to analyze together.

Procedure

To set severe thunderstorm options:

  1. Create a new detailed loss analysis.

    The Analysis Settings pane opens.

  2. Select or clear any of the severe thunderstorm sub-peril check boxes as needed.
    Hail

    Specifies whether Touchstone should analyze the hail sub-peril when performing a detailed loss analysis that includes the severe thunderstorm peril.

    Straight-Line Winds

    Specifies whether Touchstone should analyze the straight-line winds sub-peril when performing a detailed loss analysis that includes the severe thunderstorm peril.

    Tornado

    Specifies whether Touchstone should analyze the tornado sub-peril when performing a detailed loss analysis that includes the severe thunderstorm peril.
