Underwriting Contract Mode > Home Tab

The Home tab in Underwriting Contract Mode displays a list of contracts and enables you to add or import new contracts. In addition, this tab enables you to view AIR Support contact information, a link to browse documentation and downloads, as well as relevant AIR news, ALERTs, and events.

The Home tab contains the areas, fields, and buttons summarized in the following table. You can show or hide individual columns using the Column Chooser.

This table includes the default fields that appear in the grid, such as the Exposure Set and the Insured Name. For information about all the available fields in a contract list, click here

Field / Button

Description

Contracts

Search

Enables you to search for a specific contract in the Contract list. Enter the string or substring you want to search for in the following fields: Contract ID, Insured Name, Underwriter Name, Producer, and Branch. Then, press Enter. Click to clear the search field.

Add Contract

Enables you to add a new contract.

Delete Contract

Enables you to delete the selected contract(s).

Export

Enables you to export the selected contract(s) to comma-separated values (CSV) format. Select the contract(s) that you want to export and then click Export. See .

Refresh

Refreshes the data in the Contract list.

My Contracts / All Contracts

Enables you to switch between viewing only your contracts or all the contracts in the system.

If you are currently viewing only your contracts, the text "My Contracts" is black. If you are currently viewing all contracts, the text "All Contracts" is black. On the grid toolbar, click the blue hyperlink (My Contracts or My Projects to switch the view.

Contract ID

Displays the ID of each contract.

Click a contract ID to open the corresponding contract. See Contract Summary Dashboard in Underwriting Contract Mode.

Exposure Set

The exposure set containing the contract.

Insured Name

The name of the insured party for each contract.

Inception Date

The inception date of each contract.

Expiration Date

The expiration date of each contract.

Perils

The perils covered by the contract.

Created Date

The date on which each contract was created.

Created By

The user who created each contract.

Modified Date

The date on which each contract was last modified.

Modified By

The user who last modified each contract.

Location Count

Number of locations in this contract.

Layer Count

Number of layers in this contract.

Import

Import Comma Separated File (.csv)

Enables you to import contract and exposure data in comma-separated values format.
