Delete exposure sets

Deleting an exposure set, Touchstone marks the exposure data—contracts and locations—in the exposure set for deletion and the data becomes inaccessible.

You cannot undo the deletion of the exposure data.

Procedure

  1. Open a project.
  2. In the navigation pane, in the Project Data area, click All Exposure Views.
  3. Open the exposure view containing the exposure set or sets to delete.
  4. Click (Edit).
    The Modify Exposure View pane appears.
  5. Select the exposure sets that you want to delete.
    The You're about to delete <n> Exposure Set(s) confirmation dialog box appears.
  6. Click Delete.

Results

Database administrators can purge exposure sets from exposure databases through the Server Definition function in the Administration Console. Purges begins immediately. To schedule a purge to begin at a specified day and time, use Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio.
