Working with Exposure Views

In a project, you add exposure views to gather the exposure data that you want to focus on. An exposure view contains data from one or more exposure sets. Recall that an exposure set is a collection of contract and location data.

The Exposure Views grid lists the exposure views in a project. For each exposure view, the pane shows:

       Exposure View Name

Last Modified (when the exposure view was last modified)

Summary Date (when the exposure summary was generated)

       Contract Count

       Location Count

Total Replacement Value (provided that an exposure summary has been generated)

Currency (initially this is the saved currency selected when the exposure view was created)

       Exposure Sets

       Description

From the Exposure Views grid, you can:

Add one or more exposure views

       Open an exposure view

       Modify an exposure view

       Delete an exposure view

       Create a new exposure set

       Delete exposure sets

       View exposure summary data

       Open the contract list

Add contracts, sublimits, locations, and layers

       Open contract details

       Filter the contract list

       Delete contracts

Copy and move contracts and locations

       Re-geocode exposure data

Touchstone automatically refreshes the pane for every user in your business unit when you create, rename, or delete an exposure view .
