Exporting Exposure Data to UNICEDE 2 Files
You can export exposure views to UNICEDE/2 files and then use the files in Touchstone Re if you license the application.
You have three options for saving the exported UNICEDE/2 files:
-
Save the files in a directory that is accessible to Touchstone.
-
Save the files in a database that is accessible to both Touchstone and Touchstone Re.
-
Do both 1 and 2.
Option 2 enables you to transfer UNICEDE/2 files directly to Touchstone Re rather than exporting and then importing the files.
The UNICEDE/2 format enables primary insurers and their treaty reinsurers to exchange aggregate sums insured, risk count, payroll, and premium data. UNICEDE/2 supports country-specific lines of business and geographic detail. The file extension for exposure data that you export to UNICEDE/2 format is .txt.
