Download perimeter of the Wildfire event

A summary of key metrics generated in a downloadable GeoJSON file.

An individual perimeter layer of your selected Wildfire event is available as a downloadable GeoJSON file. The GeoJSON file is available on the Pop-Up message as it appears on the map when you select your event of your choice.

You can export this file and use it further in any of your exposure management tools or analyze your exposure risk through Touchstone Geospatial tool.

The file contains the following key metrics:
  • Irwind ID: (NIFC Unique ID)
  • ID: Script ID
  • Name of fire
  • Location
    • State
    • County*
  • Discover date
  • Date of selection
  • Acreage
    • Total
    • New
  • TRV
    • Total
    • New
  • Exposure
    • Total
    • New
  • Percent of containment (for the date selected)
  • New fire activity: True or False (based on the last 24 hours)
