How duplicate exposure set names are handled in multiple exposure databases

If you select exposure sets that have the same name but that are on different databases, Touchstone will add the database name to the exposure view name.

For example, ClientX's "HurricaneGina" exposure set is stored on two databases, TropicalCyclonesUS and TropicalCyclonesOutsideUS. Using the following format, where "ClientX" is the "optional_prefix",

[optional_prefix]_ExposureSetName_ExposureSetDatabaseName

the name of each exposure view containing "HurricaneGina" will be:

  • ClientX_HurricaneGina
  • ClientX_HurricaneGina_TropicalCyclonesOutsideUS

If there is a duplicate database name, Touchstone adds a number (or increases it) after the database name, starting with "1" and then increasing the number as needed, as in:

  • ClientX_HurricaneGina_TropicalCyclonesUS
  • ClientX_HurricaneGina_TropicalCyclonesOutsideUS_1
