Touchstone Re Industry Exposure and Industry Loss File (ILF) updates
Industry Exposure Database and ILF updates for release 13.0.
Scope
This release includes updates to the following models as indicated in the table below. To support updates made to the industry exposure databases in conjunction with model updates for Australia (earthquake), Mexico (earthquake), and Indonesia (flood) Industry Loss Files have been updated for other supported perils in those countries to reflect the updated industry exposure.We also included an annual update to the global exposure indexes content on the Touchstone Re 2025 Release landing page. Review the documentation associated with each model available on the Client Portal for more details.
A new Verisk Industry Exposure company has been added to installations of Touchstone Re 2025. This company contains indexed insured (take-up rates) and indexed insurable (100%) market shares for generating industry loss estimates.
Take-up rates updates include:- New take-up rates:
- Indonesia Flood
- Ireland Flood
- Malaysia Flood
- Updated take-up rates:
- Australia Fire
- Mexico Earthquake
- South Korea Wind
- UK Flood (rates are unchanged, only updated to new LOB scheme)
- Index factors applied to all countries except:
- Updated Industry Exposure Databases: Australia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Mexico, South Korea
- Southeast Europe (Albania, Macedonia, Serbia)
