Configuring a Tenant Definition
When you configure a tenant definition, you create a single global rule that applies to Data Quality's Validation, Benchmark, and Augmentation analyses, and to AM Best data. For Validation and Augmentation analyses, Data Quality uses all the options—user line of business, policy form, and occupancy type—to define which policies are interpreted as "tenant" policies for the purpose of the analyses. For Benchmark analyses and AM Best Reports, Data Quality uses only the ratio of building to contents value.
A residential tenant is any location where: the line of business resembles 'tenant'; the policy form is HO4 (renter's insurance) or HO6 (condominium insurance); the building replacement value is less than the percentage you specify for the contents replacement value AND the occupancy is residential (300-307).
