Dynamically assigned ports

Dynamically assigned ports change constantly.

The target port will be allocated and assigned, dynamically, and, because of the fluid nature of the assignment, there is no way to come up with the listing of port numbers.

All the subsystems will perform any network connection, including:

  • Client to Application Server

  • Application Server to Analysis Management Server

  • Analysis Server to Analysis Management Server

  • Any machine that will need to access the SQL Server

However, with the exception of the Client to Application Server, these ports are in the context of intranet communication; since they are in an internal domain, there is no need to configure any firewall setting. For this reason, there should not be any concern about these dynamically assigned ports. Refer to the tables below.
