You can perform various editing functions on zones from the Zones
panel in the Zone Set Manager.
Procedure
-
In the leftmost panel, select the zone set that you want to edit.
-
In the rightmost Zones panel, use the tools to perform any
of the following functions:
-
To add a new zone, click (Add Zone)
next to the New Zone command.
-
To edit the zone name, select the zone, click
(Edit zone name) next to the zone name, enter the new name, and then press
Enter.
Zone names must be unique within a zone set, but do not need to be unique
across zone sets or business units.
The new name appears in the Zones panel and in the
Zone field in the Zone Set
Manager pane.
-
To copy a zone, select the zone and then click
(Copy zone).
The copied zone appears in the Zones pane with
"_copy" appended to the original zone name.
-
To delete an existing zone, select the zone and then click (Delete zone).
You cannot delete the last zone in a zone set.
After deleting zones, the zone count is updated.
-
To edit geographic areas in a zone:
-
In the leftmost panel, select the zone set containing the zone or zones that
you want to modify.
-
In the Zones panel, expand the zone that you want to
modify.
The selector columns display the geographic areas that are included in the
zone.
-
In the selector columns, select or clear the check boxes next to each
geographic area that you want included or, if already selected, that you want
removed from the zone.
For a zone named "Denmark" that currently has one CRESTA zone, DNK_10, select additional
CRESTA zones in the CRESTA column.
The zone list is updated.
You can also select one or more areas in a zone and then click (Delete geographic areas); this removes the check
boxes next to the areas in the selector columns.
-
When you have finished editing zones, click
(Save), and then click OK to overwrite the original
areas.
