Hazard Widget Template

The Hazard Widget template enables you to configure the Hazard widget that Touchstone displays on the Contract Summary Dashboard in Underwriting Contract Mode. You can specify the criteria to define the Pass, Warning, and Fail categories that Touchstone displays in the widget. In addition, you can configure how Touchstone selects and sorts hazard data and how Touchstone calculates the percentages of locations that fall into the Pass, Warning, and Fail categories.

This feature is currently available only in Underwriting Contract mode. To use this object, you must have the appropriate analysis license.


Parameters and Buttons	Description
Common Buttons	Use these buttons (when applicable) and the parameters below to manage Hazard Widget templates.
Name	Name of the Hazard Widget template.
Description	Brief description of the Hazard Widget template.
Pass/Warning/Fail	Move the sliders to specify the bounds (measured in percentages) for the Pass, Warning, and Fail categories that Touchstone displays in the Hazard Widget.
Select and Sort Data
Show hazard guidelines ordered by violation	Displays data ordered by violation.
Choose and sort hazard guidelines in the widget	Click to open the Select Hazard Attributes window. Select the options, such as soil type and landslide zone, to include in the hazard widget. You can select multiple options. After selecting the options, click Add to move them to the Selected Options panel. Use the up and down triangles to arrange them in the order you want to use. Click Apply after selecting and ordering all the options to include.
Calculation Method
Number of Locations	Calculates the percent of locations that violate a hazard attribute rule by the number of locations.
Amount of Total Replacement Value	Calculates the percent of locations that violate a hazard attribute rule by the amount of total replacement value (TRV).
Hazard preview	An example Hazard widget in the lower right corner of the pane reflects the settings that you specify in the template.
