Thematic Summary Options -- Persisting Settings

You can save thematic summary options for all maps or only for the current map. You cannot save the Area Level option.

Note:

If you regenerate an exposure summary, Touchstone does not retain any saved Map settings (if they exist). When you open the new exposure view, Touchstone applies the current global settings (saved for all maps) and no user-defined maps will be available. If you modify the exposure summary map, you can view, without modifying the saved settings, the exposure summary (using the AIR default map), or you can view the map with the global saved settings using the Set Map To option.

Procedure

To save Thematic Summary Options settings:

  1. In the Map Tools bar (to the right of the map), click (Project Layers).
  2. Click (Thematic Summary).
  3. Click (More Options) and then click Manage thematic summary.

The Thematic Summary Editor opens, displaying Thematic Summary options.

  4. Edit the current settings.
  5. Select how you want to save the settings.
    For all maps

These are the global settings that become the default for all maps and are saved as User in the Set Map To list. Touchstone applies global settings for all maps only after you close a project and then re-open it.

    For this map

The new settings apply only to the current map and are saved as Map in the Set Map To list.

  6. Click Save.
