Touchstone(Re) hot fix 9.0.4

This hot fix addresses issues in Touchstone 2021 and Touchstone Re 2021.

Updates for Touchstone:

  • Enhanced ActivitySID to support up to 8 characters.
  • Losses for U.S. hurricane All Peril Analyses now matches the aggregation of each hurricane subperil.
  • Saving by coverage no longer causes errors on the results user interface.
  • PWH+PFL location when run against the AIR Hurricane Model for the U.S. now returns correct losses.
  • CLA Export in the API is now working correctly.
  • Detailed loss results screen "Coverage and Injury" now defaults to "Total" as expected.

Updates for Touchstone Re:

  • U.S.-Canada severe thunderstorm is now included in peril rollup in the Summary EP table.
  • Company Loss Set Cleanup tool updated so it completes without potential “vacuum” job errors when programs associated with CLFs being deleted are dropped.
  • Expected Loss % and Exhaustion Probability results are now correct when analysis results are saved in non-USD currency.

Download and Installation Instructions

  1. Before you proceed:
    • For Touchstone installations, verify that Touchstone 2021 is installed.
    • For Touchstone Re installations, verify that Touchstone Re 2021 is installed.
    • Verify there are no active HPC jobs running.

    • Shut down all application processes including the IIS on the Application Server as well all AIR Services on the Analysis Management Server (head node).
    • DO NOT SHUT DOWN Air Core Version Service.
  2. Use AIR's Download Manager/> to download and unzip the file TOUCHSTONE 9.0.4.
  3. Run Setup.exe in the Components folder on the Analysis Management Server (HPC head node), each Analysis Server (HPC compute node), Application Server (IIS) and each Client (UI) installation; the InstallShield Wizard will guide you through each installation.
  4. Run the Setup.exe in the Databases folder on each Touchstone database server; the InstallShield Wizard will guide you through each installation.
  5. Restart both IIS on the Application Server and AIR services on the head node.
  6. Reboot all servers.

For those clients who installed the September version of this hot fix and are now installing the October version:

  1. Stop the Application Server (IIS).
  2. Use AIR's Download Manager to download and unzip hot fix TOUCHSTONE 9.0.4.
  3. Run Setup.exe in the Components folders on the Application server (IIS) and where ever the Touchstone user interface is installed.
  4. Start the Application Server (IIS).
