Touchstone(Re) service pack 9.1

This service pack includes cumulative 9.0.x hot fixes, updates for the NGM Technical Preview and the integration of Sequel impact with Touchstone.

Important updates include:

  1. Improvements to the Technical Preview offering which is summarized in the NGM Technical Preview for February 2022, including:
    • CLA generation and export is now available in Touchstone, allowing clients to perform change management.
    • In Technical Preview mode:
      • If the Event Set under Analysis Settings is for a European model, you can generate a European Severe Thunderstorm CLA (Company Loss Association) file.
      • If the Event Set under Analysis Settings is for a U.S. AP or World AP event set, you cannot generate a Severe Thunderstorm CLA.
  2. An update has also been released for the integration of Sequel Impact with Touchstone. Two new keys provide more flexibility in your use of exposure views and exposure sets.
  3. This is a cumulative service pack that also includes all 9.0.x hot fixes for both Touchstone and Touchstone Re to date.

Download and Installation Instructions

  1. Before you proceed:
    • Verify that Touchstone(Re) 9.0 or any subsequest 9.x hot fix was properly installed.

    • Verify there are no active HPC jobs running.

    • Shut down all application processes including the IIS on the Application Server, as well all AIR Services on the Analysis Management Server (Head Node). Verify both services have stopped.

    • Back up your system.

  2. Use AIR's Download Manager/> to download and unzip the file TOUCHSTONE 9.1.
  3. In the Components folder, run Setup.exe on the Analysis Management Server (Head Node), the Application Server (IIS Server), on each Touchstone(Re) Analysis Server ( Compute Node), and on each Client (UI) installation; the InstallShield Wizard will guide you through each installation.
  4. In the Databases folder, run Setup.exe on each Touchstone(Re) Database (SQL) Server.
  5. Run Setup.exe in the Models folder on all model data locations. If it is a shared location, then running the executable on one server is enough.
  6. Reboot all servers.
  7. Ensure IIS is running on the Application Server and AIR Services are running on the Analysis Management Server (Head Node).
  8. [Touchstone only] Rerun the Touchstone 2021 (9.0) installation verification tests.
