Exporting Widget Data
You can export selected widget data or all widget data, including a map, to a spreadsheet. This function exports the data retrieved by widgets; it does not export the widget itself.
To export widget data:
Procedure
- Open a set of Geospatial Analysis results that includes one or more widgets.
-
Open the widget that you want to export.
If you closed all the widgets, you can view the list from the View Options window (available in the sidebar).
-
To export a single widget:
- On the Spatial ribbon, click (Export)
- Click Export Selected.
-
In the Save As dialog box, navigate to
the target location, modify the file name (optional), and
then click Save.
Touchstone creates a spreadsheet with the widget data, such as a table with the total replacement values by state.
-
To export all widget data:
- On the Spatial ribbon, click (Export).
- Click Export All.
-
In the Save As dialog box, navigate to
the target location, modify the file name (optional), and
then click Save.
Touchstone creates a spreadsheet that includes a tab for the map and for each widget created for the current analysis results, including the Analysis Summary.
