Specifying Analysis Management Settings

Before submitting a Geospatial Analysis, you can modify the analysis management settings for Touchstone to use during the analysis.

Procedure

To specify analysis management settings:

  1. Select the analysis type (step 1).
  2. Configure the analysis (step 2).
  3. Navigate to the Step 3 - Modify Settings and Reinsurance tab and then select the Analysis Management tab.
  4. Specify the analysis management settings, as described in the following table:

    Field

    Description

    Currency & Rate

    The currency and exchange rate table to use when the analysis is running. Select the exchange rate table—AIR Default or Euro-Based—to use when converting the summary results to the common currency.

    Number of Cores

    The minimum and maximum number of cores (as an integer) that you want Touchstone to use for this analysis.

    Whether this field is enabled depends on how the administrator has configured the Minimum Cores and Maximum Cores parameters when configuring the HPC Node Group Association. When both values are set to "1", you cannot modify the number of cores.

    Note:

    When you are configuring a new analysis, but not when you are creating an analysis template, a status message indicates how many cores are currently available. Click (Refresh) to refresh this status message.

    Scheduling

    "Execute Immediately" is currently the only scheduling option in Geospatial Analysis.

    Priority

    The priority for this analysis. Select one of the following options, where "Normal" is the default:

    • Low

    • Normal

    • High

    • Top Priority
