View intensity footprints for a Tropical Cyclone event

You can view the wind-speed intensity and storm surge intensity footprints of the selected events on the map and Download the image containing these footprints.

Procedure

1. Search for an event.
   • To search using event identifiers, see Search for tropical cyclone events using event identifiers.
   • To search using a filter, see Search for tropical cyclone events using attribute filters.
2. In the Results panel, select the event of interest.
3. Click on the Intensity Footprint button on the top right of the Results table.
   A drop-down list opens.
4. From the drop-down,
   • Select Wind Speed to add wind-speed intensity footprints to the map layers.
   • Select Storm Surge from the drop-down to add storm surge intensity footprints to the map layers.

Results

Based on your selection, either of the intensity footprints gets added as a map layer for your visualization and further filtering of events.
