Hazards and Intersections

This analysis type enables you to "intersect" your exposure data with any GIS layer so that you can aggregate or filter any of the exposure data attributes, including total replacement value (TRV), risk count, etc., by the legend values associated with the GIS hazard layer. The GIS layers can be those that AIR provides or layers that users import using Map Layer Import, with the Hazard data type selected.

A Hazards and Intersections analysis does not send the locations to the financial engine for application of financial terms and limits (as it does for the accumulations).
