- Draw a layer with locational coordinates
  You can draw different shape layers using locational coordinates and subsequently use these layers as spatial filters when you search for events.

  You can draw one or more polygons or circles using your cursor, save the drawing as a layer, and subsequently use the layer as a spatial filter when you search for events.

Change the opacity of a layer

You can change the opacity of a layer in the map layers pane.

The Map Layers are grouped by peril with a new Results layer added reflecting your event search.

You can perform the following actions on the Map Layers:

Change the orders by bringing the layer forward or backward.
Change the opacity of the lines highlighting the Map Layers
Remove or Rename a Map Layer
Zoom a Map Layer

Procedure

Click the Map Layers icon to open the map layer window pane.
The map layers pane appears.
Locate the layer whose opacity needs to be changed, and then click on the map layer options button.
Click Set Opacity, and then slide the opacity indicator as desired.
