Touchstone hot fix 9.0.5

This hot fix addresses specific issues in the 2021 release.

The issues:

  • Analyses now complete as expected when running the Japan Personal Accident model.
  • CLF/CLA loss output for Touchstone and Touchstone Re™ will no longer be overstated for several postal and subarea geographies in Japan, Indonesia, Philippines, Peru, Macedonia and the Netherlands.
  • Saving by coverage no longer causes errors on the results user interface.
  • For installations which only license the U.S. Severe Thunderstorm (ST) model, the ST perils are greyed out in the user interface. If any other ST models are licensed in conjunction with the U.S. model, the application will work as expected (from 9.0.1).

Download and Installation Instructions

  1. Before you proceed:
    • Verify that Touchstone 2022 (10.0) is properly installed and working.
    • Verify there are no active HPC jobs running.
    • DO NOT SHUT DOWN the AIR Core Version Service.
  2. Stop IIS services on the Application Server.
  3. Shut down AIR Services on the Analysis Management Server (Head Node).
  4. Use AIR's Download Manager/> to download and unzip the file TOUCHSTONE 9.0.5.
  5. Run Setup.exe in the Components folder on each Analysis Server (HPC compute node) and each Client (UI) installation; the InstallShield Wizard will guide you through each installation.
  6. Run the Setup.exe in the Databases folder on each Touchstone database server; the InstallShield Wizard will guide you through each installation.
  7. Restart both IIS on the Application Server and AIR services on the Analysis Manager Server (Head Node).
